Our story starts with a rather talented musician called Ollie Trevers...

Ollie Trevers is a London based singer songwriter, who studied at Leeds College of Music and ICMP. He started writing and performing music from fourteen years old and cannot remember a time when he didn’t want to be an artist.

Taking influence from a range of artists including Led Zeppelin, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell and David Bowie, Ollie’s sound has been continually evolving and maturing throughout his impressive career to date – adding several independent film scores and television adverts to his belt, alongside multiple EPs and a tour around the South of France.

His first EP, ‘Saucy Naughty Rubbish’, released in 2018 is a post punk/classic rock style EP which is extremely energetic and powerful. However, Ollie later went onto release his five track EP ‘Cordelia’, moving from punk to alternative/progressive rock, inspired by blues, folk and psychedelic rock.

...and then along came a cheeky group of chaps, bringing a killer combination of guitar, bass and drums to the mix

After playing, touring and exploring their sound for the last couple of years, Ollie and ‘the band’ decided it was time to express this collaboration in a new identity and band name.

And so, The Great Leslie was born!

Inspired by the eccentricity and electric energy of some of the greatest musicians from the 60s, 70s and 80s, The Great Leslie are a powerhouse to reckon with. Bringing poetry to their lyrics, distinctive talent to their vocals, psychic aspects to their rhythms and humour to their vibe, this is a band that will leave you wanting more.

Let us introduce you to our crazy talented band….
